From Bonn center to b-it
If you are already in Bonn you can walk to the b-it. The b-it is located about 3 km south of the center of Bonn close to the Rhine (refer to the map; click, zoom, move it, ...). It's a nice walk along the Rhine.
Of course, also public transportation is available:
- take subway (= underground = city train), stations marked with "U", lines 16 or 63, (destination: Bad Godesberg) or subway lines 66 or 68 (destination: Bad Honnef or Ramersdorf)
- get off at station "Heussallee/Museumsmeile"
- proceed to exit "Welckerstraße" (start of green line on the map), walking back past the rear of your streetcar, up an escalator, to your right and up another escalator
- then continue as indicated in the map.
How to purchase a ticket:
- online
- At a ticket machine marked with SWB (= Stadtwerke Bonn, Bonn city services)at the train station, bus and subway stops, and in the subway.
Which ticket?
- From the main station "Bonn Hauptbahnhof" to the b-it take the EinzelTicket 1b (single ticket) which is valid for one trip only, during a certain period of time after validation - depending on the price level.
- There is also a 4 ticket bundle (4erTicket), a day ticket for 1 to 5 persons (TagesTicket), and a weekly ticket (WochenTicket) among others.
- At most machines you can pay with Euro coins or bills, at some also with a bank or credit card.
- All-in-one information can be found here.

- blue line: a parking lane (parking with parking ticket, Mo-Fr 7-17 for at most 3 hours),
- red line: a parking lot (parking for cars only, 24/7).
