Computation of a crypto device might leak critical information through
physical observables such as power consumption or electromagnetic emanation.
These are side channels of cryptographic implementations. This talk is about
methods for multivariate side channel analysis. Among them, templates are
commonly assessed to provide the most powerful tools in terms of efficiency
at key recovery, at the cost of a possibly extensive profiling stage. This
talk also includes the application to masked implementations in a graduated
adversary model.
