Analysis and design of symmetric crypto systems
Abstract
This series of lectures covered design and analysis aspects of modern cryptographic primitives like block ciphers and hash functions.
On the analysis side, topics include basic and advanced forms of differential and linear cryptanalysis, and meet-in-the-middle attacks. On the design side, topics include basic construction methods as well as very recent application-oriented designs for FHE, MPC, and SNARK environments.
