Calendars for maintaining personal appointments are widely in use nowadays. Also for making appointments electronic tools are available in a great variety. Automatic scheduling of appointments requires the comparison of free slots in two calendars. The health care systems also need this functionality, but here the security requirements are typically much higher than elsewhere. Here, at best no information about the two calendars should leak apart from the final appointment.

The aim of the thesis is to clarify requirements for such a calendar. Which functionalities are needed? Which security notions describe the requirements? How could a solution look like?
