Decomposition of polynomials

One is interested in functional decomposition f = g(h) of polynomials. A
conjecture in von zur Gathen, Giesbrecht, and Ziegler (2010) states a classification for a special class of decomposable polynomials. After some general discussion
a proof of this conjecture will be given.
