Contents
This course is a brief introduction to the theory and practice of designing using embedded systems. The following topics will be discussed (Links to further references will be announced soon):
- Examples for embedded Systems and their applications
- Structure of embedded systems
- Design methodologies
- Programming Embedded systems
- Peripherals for embedded systems
- Communication protocols for embedded systems
- Security in Embedded Systems
During the course, every day will be divided into two parts. The first part is contributed to the theory and the second part consists of practicing the materials of the first part. Some of practice would be done using the PIC18F4520 Development Kit . There is no exam. for this course. There will be projects assigned to students.
Prerequisites
Knowlege of C programming language. Being familiar with digital systems is useful.
